Itinerary

Depart Marrakech in the morning and head southeast toward the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains. Enjoy a scenic drive through lush olive groves, traditional Berber villages, and winding mountain roads as you make your way into the beautiful Ourika Valley.

Your first stop is at a women’s argan oil cooperative, where you’ll learn how argan oil is traditionally extracted and used in cooking and cosmetics. Continue deeper into the valley, where the landscape shifts to dramatic red hills, rushing rivers, and terraced fields.

Arrive in the village of Setti Fatma, nestled in the heart of the Ourika Valley and known for its seven waterfalls. You’ll have the option to take a guided hike to some of these waterfalls, climbing through shaded paths and over small wooden bridges with the sound of water rushing nearby.

After the hike, enjoy time to relax at one of the riverside cafés or restaurants, where you can choose to have lunch by the water (meal not included). Try a traditional tagine or couscous while taking in the serene views of the surrounding mountains.

On the way back to Marrakech, there will be opportunities to stop for photos and explore local markets or roadside stands selling pottery, crafts, and spices. You’ll return to the city in the late afternoon after a refreshing day in the cool, green valley.
