Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech to Zagora

LDepart Marrakech in the morning and drive across the scenic High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass. Stop to explore the legendary Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and film location for Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Continue through Ouarzazate and the Draa Valley, home to Morocco’s largest palm oasis. Arrive in Zagora in the afternoon, where your camel awaits for a sunset ride into the desert. Settle into your desert camp for a traditional dinner and music around the fire.

Day 2: Zagora to Marrakech

Wake early to enjoy the peaceful desert sunrise and breakfast at camp. After a return camel ride, begin the journey back north through the Draa Valley. Stop in Agdz or Ouarzazate for lunch and optional sightseeing. Continue through the mountains with scenic photo stops, arriving back in Marrakech by early evening. Drop-off at your accommodation.
