Continue through Ouarzazate and descend into the lush Draa Valley, lined with palm groves and ancient mudbrick villages. Arrive in Agdz or a nearby kasbah for dinner and overnight in a charming riad.

Day 2: Agdz to Erg Chigaga Dunes

After breakfast, follow the Draa River through traditional towns like Zagora and Tamgroute, where you can visit a centuries-old Koranic library or green pottery workshops. Continue to M’hamid, the last town before the Sahara begins. From here, drive off-road through wild desert terrain, stony plains, and sand tracks until you reach the remote dunes of Erg Chigaga. Enjoy a camel ride at sunset and settle into your luxury desert camp for dinner, music, and stargazing.

Day 3: Erg Chigaga to Ouarzazate

Wake early for a magical sunrise over the dunes, then enjoy breakfast at the camp. Begin the off-road drive across the dry salt flats of Lake Iriki and through the rugged landscapes of the Iriqui National Park. Reach the town of Foum Zguid and continue north through desert plains and colorful mountain scenery to Taznakht, a town known for its Berber carpet weaving. Arrive in Ouarzazate in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight in a comfortable riad or guesthouse.

Day 4: Ouarzazate to Marrakech

After breakfast, visit the Kasbah Taourirt or enjoy a coffee near the Atlas Film Studios.
